Ivanhoe Australia is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Vancouver based Ivanhoe Mines Limited, which is listed on the Toronto, NY and NASDAQ exchanges. It has a market capitalisation as at July 2007 of CDN$6.0 billion.

Ivanhoe Australia will continue to leverage the support, knowledge and extensive relationship network of its parent, Ivanhoe Mines.

Importantly, Ivanhoe Mines and Ivanhoe Australia share a common philosophy and approach to minerals exploration and development. For Ivanhoe Australia this will involve the pursuit of extensive, well funded, deep drilling exploration programs to identify economic resources that can be brought quickly to feasibility and development stage.
